However, due to its strong taste, it’s difficult to introduce into your diet if you’ve never eaten it before.

Beef Liver Pate

Ingredients

  • Beef Liver
  • Butter/Ghee/Cream
  • Sea Salt
  • Garlic (Optional)
  • Onion (Optional)

Method

  1. Take some beef liver and cut it into 1 inch small strips.
  2. Saute the strips in a cooking pan on medium heat.
  3. Transfer the sautéed liver to a food processor.
  4. Add butter, cream, or ghee to the liver and blend until you get a smooth consistency.
  5. You can also add some onion or garlic to this for some flavorflavour and kick.
  6. Put this in mason jars and refrigerate!

Pan Fried Liver with Bacon and Onions

Liver and onions is a classic way to cook liver that your grandparents probably enjoyed. Onion helps neutralize the metallic taste of beef liver, and the modern twist of bacon and ghee add even more carnivore flavor.

  • Bacon
  • Beef Liver
  • Butter/Ghee

Method

  1. Cut the liver into small, 1-inch slices.
  2. Add butter/ghee to a frying pan.
  3. On medium heat, fry the bacon.
  4. In the bacon grease, fry the chopped beef liver slices. with onion.
  5. Mix it all and have a healthy, tasty meal!

Dehydrated Liver

Dehydrated liver is a great way of enjoying beef liver on the go. Forget beef jerky — dehydrated liver is the ultimate carnivore snack.

Ingredients

  • Beef Liver
  • Sea Salt

Method

  1. Slice the beef liver as thin as you desire.
  2. Sprinkle sea salt on both sides of the slices.
  3. Place the slices in a dehydrator to the desired level of crispiness.

Bacon Wrapped Beef Liver

The flavors of bacon and liver complement each other naturally. Here’s another way to combine them and cook in the oven.

Ingredients

  • Beef Liver
  • Bacon
  • Sea Salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice the liver into pieces that are 3-inch long and 1-inch thick.
  3. Wrap bacon around these slices and secure it using toothpicks.
  4. Sprinkle some sea salt on the slices.
  5. Bake the beef liver for 10 minutes or until it is crispy.

Beef Liver Meatballs

You can make meatballs out of the beef liver as well. Mixing the liver with ground beef disguises the taste of the liver completely.

  • Beef Liver
  • Beef
  • Ghee/Butter
  • Sea Salt
  • Minced Bacon (Optional)
  • Onion (Optional)
  • Garlic (Optional)
  • Spices (Optional)

Method

  1. Take some beef liver and grind it into ¼ inch pieces.
  2. Mix this with ground beef. It is better to keep the ratio of ground beef to liver 50/50. You can add minced bacon as well if you want.
  3. Melt ghee or butter and add it to a bowl.
  4. Add everything to this butter.
  5. Sprinkle some sea salt for flavor. You can also add onion, garlic, and spices if you want.
  6. Shape it into balls.
  7. Bake the meatballs at 250 degrees for 25 minutes.
